Born in France and raised between her homeland and Italy, Amity Trinx centers her artistic universe on one essential force: love. Every subject begins with a personal emotion intertwined with memory and, at times, melancholia. She paints what deeply moves her and lets intuition and the subconscious guide each canvas. Her work merges figurative forms with abstract atmospheres, expressing emotional truth with elegance and spiritual sensitivity.
At the heart of her practice is a series of sculptures she created as a way to salve her grief after her father’s passing.
Inspired by his Italian gelato company, she turned sorrow into color, softness, and sculptural form, shaping personal loss into love and joy. The works taps into a collective nostalgia a return to a time when emotions felt pure and life felt simple

L. Amity Trinx was born in France and was raised between her native country and Italy where her father was from.
She received her Masters degree in Business that she allied with her passion for the Arts.
Her paintings and drawings express the beauty of the Woman. She is engrossed with the purity, the finesse and the energy of Her lines.
After years of traveling she permanently moved to New York in 2013. She desires to express her inner feelings. Like touched by the Light she reveals the power, purity, and freedom of this Light by painting strong movements punctuated with a gold color.
In 2018 her world was forever changed when her beloved Italian father passed away, leaving behind a void that seemed insurmountable.
Rappled with the weight of her grief, she found herself drawn to the medium of sculpture as a means of expressing her emotions. Inspired by her father’s gelato company; in the depths of her pain, she envisioned a tribute to him, a symbol of their unbreakable bond and the enduring love that transcended even death. This sculpture, born from the depths of her sorrow, became a beacon of hope and healing.
Driven by a desire to share this love with the world, Amity embarked on a mission to spread joy and positivity through her art. She saw her father’s legacy not just as a personal tribute but as a source of inspiration for others to cherish the moments of sweetness in life and hold tight to the bonds of family and love.
