About the Artwork

“A final, faithful tribute under the open American sky.”

Cowboy’s Last Rodeo captures a deeply moving moment of memory and loyalty. Set against a fiery, amber-and-orange sunset, a solitary horse runs across a glowing field, scattering the ashes of its departed cowboy rider into the wind.

The vast sky blends intense horizon colors with a soft blue canton in the upper corner, subtly rendering, in gold, the stars of the American flag into the atmosphere. With dramatic contrast and expressive acrylic brushwork, this 30 × 36 inch canvas balances emotional weight with tranquil reverence turning a quiet farewell into a timeless symbol of the American West.
